Delta Air Lines has signed an additional firm order for 14 Bombardier CRJ900 regional jets from Bombardier Aerospace, the airline’s second order in less than four months.
The approximate value of the firm order announced today, based on the list price for the CRJ900 aircraft, is $511m.
Including the order announced today, 13 operators have ordered a total of 210 CRJ900 regional jets.
As of January 31, 2007, Bombardier had delivered 1,409 CRJ Series aircraft including 251 CRJ700, 15 CRJ705 and 89 CRJ900 regional jets to operators around the world.
