European plastics maker Polimoon has acquired Zlin-based Rim Tech, a Czech supplier of plastics components, for 5.8 million Euros.
Rim Tech employs approximately 200 people, and is expected to reach annual sales of approximately 9 million Euros in 2005 with an operating profit margin (EBIT) of 9%.
The company provides injection moulded components to the truck and construction industry. Rim Tech’s customers are both local and multinational car manufacturers, and include some of Polimoon’s existing customers.
Hard on the acquisition trail, Polimoon recently bought Lima-Pol Polimoon, a Polish manufacturer of packaging that focuses on supplying jars and bottles to the cosmetics industry.
The enlarged Polimoon Group will have combined revenues of 340 million Euros, employing 2,450 employees, and will operate in 13 countries throughout
