ABB has appointed Arthur Charlesworth as its new manager for the UK’s ABB University in Telford. Charlesworth will help the university build on its proven expertise in training ABB’s own staff and external customers in all aspects of automation systems, particularly ABB’s System 800xA distributed control system. The university was the first to be officially certified to provide System 800xA training and now delivers a wide variety of courses within the UK and has helped develop and deliver specialised courses globally.
